1/4 cCurrants; (or raisins)
2 cApple cider
3 Sprigs of fresh thyme
1/4 cDry sour cherries
1/2 tsBlack pepper
1 tsKosher salt
2 cWater
3/4 cDiced onion
1/2 cWild rice

Wild Rice Pilaf with Dried Fruit Preparation

Cost: $ ; Preparation Time: 20 minutes Difficulty Level: 3 ; Servings: 4 1. Combine all the ingredients, except the cherries and currants in a medium size saucepan and cook slowly, covered, over medium heat for about 35 minutes. 2. Add the dried fruit and cook for another 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender but not mushy.
