Tamale Pie
| 1/4 cRed Bell Pepper; diced |
| 2/3 cmilk |
| 2 tbChili powder |
| 1/4 cVegetable oil |
| Salt & black pepper |
| 1 pkCream style corn |
| 1 cnChili & beans |
| 1 lgYellow onion |
| 1 cnTomato sauce |
| 2 lbGround turkey |
| 1 pkCornbread mix |
| 3 Garlic |
| 1 tsCumin |
| 1 cnDiced green chilies |
| 2 Eggs |
Tamale Pie Preparation
Preheat oven to 400. Brown turkey in oil, add onion and garlic to center of pan and saute until tender. Add tomato sauce, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt & pepper. Simmer 8 minutes. Add chilies & can of chili & beans. Stir together. Spoon mixture into 2-3 quart shallow baking dish. Stir muffin mix with eggs, milk & bell pepper. Pour over chili mixture. Bake 10 minutes.
