"FANTASTIC ! I made a slight change--left out black pepper, dried shrimp with paper towels, then lightly coated with plain flour before dipping in batter. Try them with coconut and Pina Colada sauce. (after dipping in batter, dredge with coconut)"

| 1 12-ounce canlager beer; (cold) |
| 1 tsblack pepper; Finely ground |
| 1/2 tsCayenne pepper; Optionally add paprika |
| 1 1/4 cFlour |
