| 1 cGreen pepper; diced |
| 1 cGreen onion; chopped, with |
| 16 ozHominy; canned |
| 1 tbSugar |
| 2 tbCumin powder |
| 1/4 cJalapeno; seeded and chopped |
| 32 ozBlackeyed peas; canned |
| 2 tbBlack pepper; coarsely |
| 1 cFresh tomato; chopped |
| 1/2 cCilantro; finely chopped |
| 16 ozPicante sauce; medium or hot |
| 1 tbSalt |
Texas Caviar Preparation
