Suggest a better descriptionDirections: Cut the spareribs into pieces and place in a foil-lined baking pan. Pour the soy sauce over the ribs and season with pepper. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and drain off fat. For the sauce, combine the pineapple, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and garlic i n a large bowl. Pour mixture over the ribs. Lower the oven temperature to 350 and place the ribs back in the oven, uncovered for 1 hour. Baste often. Garnish with scallions.
