"Great salad! My husband, who isn't a big veggie person, absolutely loves it. I cut the dressing amount in half because it can be a little much. Also, instead of raisins, I use dried cranberries, especially for fall and winter holiday dinners. Overall, wonderful! " - tmlagorio

1 1/2 cMayonnaise
2 tbWine vinegar
1 tbDijon mustard
3 tbHoney
1/2 cRaisins

Sweet And Nutty Broccoli Salad Preparation

To make dressing, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard and honey. Add raisins and let stand for at least 30 minutes. The flavors blend even better if allowed to stand, refrigerated, overnight. Just before serving, combine salad ingredients; toss with dressing, so that dressing lightly coats broccoli, saving any extra dressing for another use. I made this salad for a family get together. My Grandmother asked for the recipe and now, this salad has been used for every family event. It is full of flavour and makes a great side dish!

I made this today and it turned out great. I omitted the onion and added 1/4 of sugar to the dressing. Great way to use up all the fresh broccoli in our garden.

I reduced mayo from 1.5 cups to 1 and honey from 3 tablespoons to 1 to make less dressing and make it more tangy and less sweet.

Good, tangy suite flavor. Would go well with grilled steak.

Very good recipe. I would use 1/2 C. sweet onion, and 1/2 C. sunflower seeds. 1 Tb. more honey.
