Sag Paneer (Cheese Cooked with Spinach)
| Coriander; finely chopped |
| Onions; finely chopped |
| 2 tsMixed curry powder |
| spinach; Tinned |
| 1 tsSalt |
| Indian cheese; cubed |
| 1 tsGaram masala |
| 2 tsTomato puree |
| Garlic; and ginger |
| Vegetable oil; or butter |
| Fresh tomatoes; cubed |
Sag Paneer (Cheese Cooked with Spinach) Preparation
Heat the oil or butter in a pan then add the garlic and ginger and cook until brown. Add the onions and cook until brown. Add the curry powder, garam masala, salt and tomato puree. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring, until all the spices are thoroughly blended. Add the cheese, spinach and tomatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes.
