Original recipe makes 4 servings
8 "; (20cm) diameter
Grated zest and juice of 1
2 Eggs
; sweet shortcrust
; pastry case
2 ozButter; melted
6 ozPrunes; pitted
3 1/2 ozGood quality plain chocolate
2 ozSoft brown sugar

Prune And Bitter Chocolate Tart Preparation

Pre-heat the oven to 190C/375F/gas 5. Chop the prunes and chocolate and place in the pastry case. Beat together the eggs, sugar, butter, lemon zest and juice, and pour the mixture into the pastry case. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 25 minutes or until the custard is just firm.
