450 mlWater
Mascarpone cheese
Caster sugar to taste

Poached Plums with Mascarpone Cheese Preparation

Put the sugar and water into a saucepan and bring to the boil slowly. Tip in the plums, cover the saucepan and poach until they begin to burst.
