Pork Lo Mein
Ingredients
Original recipe makes 4 servings
| 1/2 cGreen pepper; cut into |
| 3/4 lbLean ground pork |
| 1 cCarrots; shredded |
| 1 cChicken broth |
| 1/2 cGreen onion; sliced |
| 2 cBean sprouts |
| 1 tbCornstarch |
| 1 tbSoy sauce |
| 1/4 tsCurry powder |
| 1 tsGinger root; grated |
| 1/4 tsCrushed red pepper |
| 2 cFresh mushrooms; sliced |
| 2 cCooked spaghetti |
| 2 Garlic; minced |
Pork Lo Mein Preparation
In a large skillet cook pork, mushrooms, carrots, green pepper, and garlic till meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Stir cornstarch into meat mixture. Stir in chicken broth, soy sauce, ginger root, crushed red pepper, and curry powder. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
