Original recipe makes 4
450 gLean pork mince; (1lb)
Salt
1 tsFresh sage; finely chopped, (optional)
50 gBack bacon; chopped (2oz)
1 tbolive oil
1 Leek; finely chopped
100 mlHalf fat creme fraiche

Pork Mince with Leek And Bacon Preparation

Heat the oil in a frying pan over a moderate heat. Add the leek and bacon and cook for 4 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the leek is soft. Add the pork and cook for a further 6-8 minutes. Add seasoning to taste. Stir through the creme fraiche and the sage, re-season and serve. Notes: Serve with pasta or new potatoes and a green salad. NOTES : Suppertime fayre for busy families.This simple to prepare tasty meal is both economical and versatile.It could equally be made using turkey mince and other vegetables eg courgettes or peppers.
