8 Barbecue-flavoured pork ribs
1 tbClear honey
1 tsolive oil
BARBECUE SAUCE
4 Salad onions; trimmed and sliced
; sliced
Salt
1 tbRed wine vinegar
1 14-oz canchopped tomatoes; 397 g
1 Red chilli; deseeded and diced

Pork Ribs with a Barbecue Sauce Preparation

1. Barbecue or grill the ribs on a moderate heat for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally. 2. Meanwhile make the sauce; heat the olive oil in a saucepan add the salad onions and fry for 1 minute. Stir in the chilli and fry for a further minute. 3. Add the vinegar then stir in the tomatoes and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Stir in the honey and seasoning, and simmer for a further 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Serve the pork ribs with the barbecue sauce. Delicious accompanied with egg noodles. NOTES : Traditional Barbecued spare ribs with a rich barbecue sauce. Ideal for those special summer occasions.
