Suggest a better descriptionPeel pears. Cut in half. Remove cores with a melon baller. Slice pears. Combine pears with liqueur and sugar. Combine amaretti cookie crumbs with flour, brown sugar and white sugar. Cut in butter until it is in tiny bits. Arrange pears and their juices in the bottom of a buttered 9"X13"/3L baking dish. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top. Bake crisp in a preheated 375F/190C oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until pears are really tender. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. NOTES : Makes 8 to 10 servings
