Yang Chow Fried Rice
Original recipe makes 4 Servings
| 3 cCold cooked rice |
| 2 tbVegetable oil |
| 1/2 tsLight soy sauce |
| 1/4 cGreen onions, chopped |
| 2 Eggs, slightly beaten |
| 1/4 cCooked shrimp, diced |
| 1/4 cGreen peas, uncooked |
| 1 tbDark soy sauce |
| 1/4 cBarbecued pork or ham, |
Yang Chow Fried Rice Preparation
Swirl vegetable oil around bottom and sides of a heated wok. Add onions & eggs, quick-fry, then add peas and shrimp and blend together. Immediately add rice & press gently to sides & bottom to separate kernels. Add pork or ham, salt, & soy sauces. Mix together quickly & serve.
