Pasta with a Creamy Pesto And Parma Ham Sauce
| 250 gFusilli verdi; (8oz) |
| 142 millilitersdouble cream |
| 120 gramfresh pesto |
| 50 gSundried tomatoes in olive; sliced (2oz) |
| 85 gramsParma ham; sliced |
| Black Pepper; freshly ground |
| 1 Sprigbasil; and shavings of for garnish |
Pasta with a Creamy Pesto And Parma Ham Sauce Preparation
Cook the fusilli following instructions on the pack. Meanwhile make the sauce, pour the cream into a medium sized saucepan and place over a low heat. Stir in the pesto and sundried tomatoes and heat gently. Add the Parma ham strips and add black pepper to taste. Heat gently stirring occasionally. Drain the pasta and pour over the sauce mixing well to thoroughly coat. Serve immediately and garnish with sprigs of basil and shavings of parmesan cheese. NOTES : A deliciously rich and tasty pasta dish.
