Original recipe makes 1 servings
1 1/2 Sticks Unsalted butter
4 cDiced red potatoes; skin
Dried potato flakes
1/4 cHeavy cream -; (to 1/2 cup)
salt and pepper; to taste

Mashed Potatoes for the 90s (Basic Mix) Preparation

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, and add diced red potatoes. Boil for approximately 15 minutes, until tender. Drain. In a mixing bowl, mix potatoes and butter with a hand mixer, and gradually add the cream until the desired consistency is reached. Add more cream to thin, and add more potato flakes to thicken.
