"I LOVE this recipe! We made it for the second time last night... This time I Used 1 lb of hamburger meat as well as the sausage it calls for... We also used Ziti's instead of the Lasagna noodles.. SO YUMMY!! I HIGHLY Recommend this to anyone!!"

Ingredients

| 1/2 tsDried basil |
| 12 Lasagna noodles; boken into pieces |
| 1 cRicotta cheese |
| 1/2 cGrated Parmesan cheese |
| 1 lbHot Italian sausage; casings |
| 1 26-oz jarspaghetti sauce |
| 2 cmozzarella cheese; Shredded |
| 1/2 tsBlack pepper |
Lasagna Toss Preparation
Cook the noodles according to the package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a soup pot, cook the sausage over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes, or until no pink remains, stirring to crumble the sausage; drain. Add the noodles and the remaining ingredients; mix well. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately. Note: Sprinkle with a bit of chopped parsley before serving to give this an extra-fancy, extra-fresh look. Air date: January 6, 1999.
