Indian Tuna
Original recipe makes 1
| Cayenne pepper; (HOT) |
| 1 1/2 tsMild curry blend; or to taste |
| 1 tsFresh ground cumin |
| 2 tbyellow mustard; Prepared |
| 1 12-oz canWhite tuna; StarKist Solid or packed in spring water |
| 1/4 cSweet pickle relish; or gherkins |
| 2/3 cLow fat mayonnaise; or fat free yogurt |
| 1 tsMild chili powder |
| 4 egg whites; Boiled, (chopped) |
Indian Tuna Preparation
Mix together ingredients to combine well. Add Cayenne to taste, if desired. Cover and refrigerate for an hour or two to let flavors combine. Makes about 3 cups. Serve in a pita with assorted sprouts. May be stuffed in a cooked baked potato, or cooked as a casserole with cheese sprinkled on top.
