Original recipe makes 1
2 tbSalad oil
2 tsLemon juice
8 1-ozhoney dew chunks
8 Bamboo skewers
8 1-ozpineapple chunks
1 tbred onion; Finely diced
1/4 cGranulated sugar
1/4 tsSalt
2 tbCider vinegar
8 1-ozcantaloupe chunks
8 lgStrawberries
2 tsPoppy seeds
2 ozKirsch; (cherry brandy)
1/2 cSalad oil
POPPY SEED DRESSING

Grilled Fruit Kabobs Preparation

Combine all ingredients except oil in Cuisinart. Blend at high speed. Slowly add oil to emulsify. Store in sealed container until ready to serve. If dressing separates shake vigorously to mix. Place 1 piece each fruit on skewer. Soak in Kirsch for 1 hour. Brush light amount of oil on kabobs. Grill for 1 minute on each side. Remove and top with poppy seed dressing. Serve immediately.
