Original recipe makes 8 servings
Black Pepper; freshly ground
olive oil
8 slGoat cheese; 1/4-inch thick
1 tbFresh thyme leaves
8 slFrench or Italian bread;
Salt

Goat Cheese Croutons Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place the bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 4 minutes, turning once, until lightly browned. Top each crouton with a slice of goat cheese and sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper. Set aside. This recipe yields 8 croutons.
