3/4 cAll-purpose flour
1/2 Lemon
3/4 cSugar
1/2 cApple juice
; pieces
1/4 tbGround allspice
1/2 tbGround cinnamon
1/2 cUnsalted butter; cut into
1 tbUnsalted butter; for dish

Grannys Apple Crumble Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 450 f. Grease baking dish. Peel 1 apple. Squeeze lemon juice over apples. Finish slicing apples and put all in baking dish. Pour apple juice over apples and then sprinkle with cinnamon and allspice. Gently toss and set aside. Pour sugar and flour in mixing bowl. Stir to combine the ingredients. Add butter pieces. Mix ingredients together with fingertips until mixture looks and feels like fine crumbs. Sprinkle the crumbs evenly over the apples in dish. Bake about 1 hour, until apples are tender and topping is light golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
