Festive Fry Preparation
1. Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan or wok. 2. Add the swede or turnip and spring onions and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the chestnuts, gammon, orange rind and juice, redcurrant jelly and seasoning to taste. Stir fry for a further 5-6 minutes. Serve immediately. NOTES : A delicious stir fry with a hint of Christmas.
