"M&ms" Chocolate Macadamia Chewies
| 1/4 tsSalt |
| 3/4 tsBaking soda |
| 1 tsVanilla extract |
| 3/4 cButter |
| 1 lgEgg |
| 1 3/4 cAll-purpose flour |
| 1/2 cShredded coconut |
| 3/4 cCoarsely chopped macadamia |
| 2/3 cFirmly packed light brown |
"M&ms" Chocolate Macadamia Chewies Preparation
Preheat oven to 350? F. In a large bowl with electric mixer, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla, blending well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend well into creamed mixture. Blend in coconut and macadamia nuts. By hand, stir in "M&Ms" r Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with back of spoon. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or just until set. Do not over bake. Cool 1 minute before removing to wire rack; cool completely. Store in tightly covered container. MAKES ABOUT 4 DOZEN COOKIES.
