Original recipe makes 36
2 cFlaked coconut
1/4 cGranulated sugar
1 cnSweetened condensed milk; (15 oz)
1 pkSemisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cbutter; Melted, or margarine
2 cgraham cracker crumbs

Chocolate/coconut Bars Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter. Mix well. Pat into ungreased 13- by 9- by 2-inch pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Combine condensed milk and coconut. Spread on baked layer. Return to oven; bake 15 minutes longer. Melt chocolate; spread over baked layers. Let cool in pan set on rack, then cut into 2 1/2- by 1 1/4-inch bars. Yield: 36 bars. Testers note: Easy, quick and rich. A nice holiday cookie.
