I bake different kinds of cookies every week to give out to the customers at the book store where I work. These have been such a family fav that I thought to make them to take to the book store 2 wks ago...I had so many people compliment on them and many many requests for the recipe and requests for more that I made them again this week ! They were a hit again! ..I've changed them up a bit by sub'ing Pumpkin Pie Spice for the Nutmeg a few times and also mixed cinnamon and sugar to top them with...Yumm!
Also I've made the cookie icing from the same Betty Crocker Cookie book and have sub'd Rum flavoring for the vanilla in the icing and put different types of sprinkles on them while the icing was still soft, gotta work quick, it sets up fast and Stays on the cookies... Mix up a batch..Ill bet your family will Love them!
