Caramelised Beetroot And Apple
| 3 tbolive oil |
| 25 gUnsalted butter; (1oz) |
| 1 20 grams pac fresh parsley; |
| ; into wedges |
| ; wedges |
| 1 500 gram bun beetroot; |
| 2 tbSoft brown sugar |
| ; instructions, cut |
| 3 Granny Smith apples peeled; |
Caramelised Beetroot And Apple Preparation
Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas Mark 5. Place the beetroot in a roasting tin along with the olive oil, mix to incorporate and cook for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes minutes remove the roasting tin from the oven add the apple and dot with the butter and sprinkle over the sugar. Return back to the oven and cook for a further 20 minutes. Remove and gently stir in the chopped parsley then serve immediately alongside roasted meats or sausages. NOTES : A lovely combination of beetroot and apples, ideal served alongside roasted meats or sausages from the JSSausage of Distinction Range.
