Melt butter in small skillet over medium-high heat and add sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Stir constantly until sugar loses grainy appearance, about 5 minutes. Pour nuts onto sheet of aluminum foil and let cool about 15 minutes.
Store up to 2 days in airtight container.
Yields 1/2 cup pecans.

sarahyellow 2 years agoThis recipe does not work. Following your measurements and directions, the pecans become a burned, smoking mess in under a minute. I would reccomed to others that they use more sugar, less (if any) cinnamon, and A LOT more butter. But I would advise NO ONE to the above recipe.
jmschaub 2 years agoEither the instrcution, ingredients are lacking or something is generally wrong here. Medium High heat with that little of butter and stuff end up making a smoking mess.
