Toast the bread on both sides, and then spread one side with the olive pate. Halve the tomatoes and place in a small saucepan with the basil and olive oil and warm through over a low heat for 2 minutes. Alternatively heat the tomatoes in a microwave proof container for 1-2 minutes on medium power. The tomatoes should retain their shape after heating. Place the tomatoes on top of the olive pate and spoon over the tomato juices from the pan or microwave dish. Serve imediately.
