Baked Cavatelli
Ingredients
| 14 ozSpaghetti sauce |
| 8 ozFusilli pasta; cooked and |
| 4 ozNonfat mozzarella cheese; |
| 12 ozTurkey Italian sausage; |
| 1/4 tsPepper |
| 1 tsItalian seasoning |
| 3/4 cGreen onion; chopped |
| 2 Garlic; minced |
| 2 cTomato sauce |
Baked Cavatelli Preparation
Cook and drain pasta; set aside. In a large skillet cook sausage until no pink remains; remove from skillet. Wip pan clean and spray with cooking spray; cook green onion and garlic until tender. In a 2 quart casserole combine cooked pasta, sausage, onion mixture, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, half of the mozarella, Italian seasoning and pepper. Toss gently to combine. Bake, covered, in a 375F oven for 25 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining mozarella and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more or until heated through. Recipe by: Better Homes and Gardens
