| 1 tsSalt |
| 2 tbCooking oil |
| 1/3 cOnion; chopped |
| 2 tbBrown sugar |
| 1/2 cWater |
| 1 15-oz canTomato Sauce |
| 1 lbGround beef |
| 1/8 tsPepper |
| 1/8 tsGarlic powder |
| 1 cWater |
| 1/2 cLong-Grain Rice; uncooked |
| 2 tsWorcestershire Sauce |
Porcupine Meatballs Preparation
In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Add beef & mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 in balls. In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; drain. Combine tomato sauce, water, brown sugar & Worcestershire sauce; pour over meatballs, Reduce heat; cover & simmer for 1 hr. Yield 4-6 servings.
