Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies Preparation

Preheat oven to 375. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Soften butter and mix with peanut butter. Add sugars gradually until creamy and well-blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mix. Roll into one-inch balls, and cover in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 12 minutes. Press an unwrapped kiss into the top of each warm cookie. These make great Christmas gifts, arranged in clear jars with wrapped Hershey kisses interspersed among the cookies. Artistic & delicious! Source: An old old newspaper clipping / Lisa Clarke Neil thinks we should stick with dessert-type stuff. Im not sure what I think. Regardless of what we make, these cookies are a MUST. I make these every year (Im suprised I havent posted them before now!) - * From the Polka Dot Cottage, 1-201-822-3627, NJs BBS for Homemakers!
