Ingredients

Balsamic vinegar
1 ts Herbs de province
1 lg Onion; minced
1 can tomatoes; (large) chopped
salt and pepper; to taste
2 tb Capers
1 Cloves garlic; minces
1/2 bunch fresh basil; Chopped
1/4 ts Red pepper flakes
1 tb kalamata olives; Minced

Preparation

"Saut=82" onions and garlic in balsamic vinegar and water, till translucent. Add capers and olives (if youre using them). Continue cooking for another couple of minutes until things are nicely blended. Add everything but the salt and pepper. Turn down heat and simmer 10 minutes. Serve over a hearty pasta like linguine. A little too spicy for me; I probably put too much red pepper flakes in...

Easy and tasty. I wait to add the garlic with the olives and capers for a brighter garlic flavor.
