12 ozPenne; or other tubular pasta
3 tbSpice Islands Sweet Basil
Parmesan; grated, Additional
1/2 tsSalt
1/2 cParmesan cheese; freshly
2 Clovesgarlic; sliced
1/4 cPine nuts; or chopped
1/2 colive oil
2 cfresh spinach leaves; Torn

Pasta with Spinach Pesto Preparation

Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in food processor or blender container, combine spinach, oil, cheese, basil, garlic, 3 tablespoons pine nuts and salt. Process, on and off, until almost smooth. In large bowl, combine pasta and s pinach mixture; toss to coat. To serve, sprinkle with remaining pine nuts and additional cheese, if desired.
