Original recipe makes 4
1/4 cRaisins
1/2 tsConnamon; or nutmeg
1/3 cSugar
3 slWhole wheat bread
1 1/2 cSkim milk
3/4 tsVanilla extract
2 Eggs

Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding Preparation

Sprinkle half the raisins in greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Arrange bread cubes over top; sprinkle with remaining raisins. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and sugar in bowl until foamy. Pour over bread cubes. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Let stand for 10 minutes. Place baking dish in pan of warm water in oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until custard is set.
