Suggest a better descriptionSpray the inside of a brown paper grocery bag with Pam (or non-stick spray). Put 3 quarts of popcorn in bag. Mix in microwave safe container (4 cup glass measuring cup works well) the sugar, syrup, margarine and salt. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well. Microwave additional 2 minutes on high and stir in baking soda immediately. Mixture will be foamy. (Note: If you stir with a wooden spoon you can leave in container to cook.) Pour half of foamy mixture over popcorn in bag, add rest of popcorn and then pour remaining foamy mixture over top. Fold top of bag over and Shake Well Quickly. Place bag with top folded over in microwave and microwave 90 seconds on high. Shake Well Again. Pour mixture out to cool (2 cookie sheets work well - mixture will not stick when cool, do Not grease pans). When completely cool break apart and store in airtight containers. Very Yummy. Note: Microwaves cook times vary slightly - syrup mixture is very hot so work quickly but carefully. busted by sooz Recipe by: Key Gourmet Posted to recipelu-digest by sooz
