In a 2-1/2 quart glass buttered casserole, arrange sliced potatoes. Sprinkle with flour, salt and onion and mix lightly. Stir in milk and dot with butter.
Microwave covered 15 - 18 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes. Rest covered 5 minutes. Garnish with paprika or parsley. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top after cooking.
