"Very Good!: I made on 7/23/05. I omitted the cheese. I used a heaping tablespoon of flour. I also used Penne pasta (I happened to have a started packaged). After preparing, it was somewhat soupy, so I added some additional flour (Wonder flour). The next time just prepare as listed (still omitting the cheese). Upon setting the casserole will thicken. I fact, I have to add some water when I warmed up the next day." - jfriday

Used mac n cheeze, just bscause son would not even think about trying this, so killed 2 birds with one stone. It was ok. Thought the onion mix was a bit strong. Might try adding cream of mushroom soup next time. Mushrooms and onions go well together.

Too bland. Even for my kids, one likes spicy -the other just a little bit. I knew it would be bland by reading the recipe and threw in some extra spices. In the future, I will do a variation of this but will throw in some Rotel or salsa. If you really don't like spicy food or you have kids that won't eat it, it will probably be an easy to do meal.

This was good, and a real kid-pleaser. I used cooked penne (on hand, 17.6 oz dry), ground turkey subbed seasoned w/garlic, onion, cumin, salt n pepper, 16 oz tomato sauce, 6 oz water, & one pkt onion mix. Mixed about 1/2 c shredded cheese in, then sprinkled more on top. Yum!

Tried this as a quick meal and was absolutely delicious. We can't get packet onion soup un the UK, so I used a tin of French onion soup and left out the water.

Yummy meal! I doubled the cheese and it still didn't come out looking like the pics. And I will probably slowly increase the amount of pasta each time until it is a better proportion.

A really great and easy recipe. I used a pound and a quarter of ground turkey, 2 cups of dry bowtie pasta, 2 cups of water, 8 ounces of tomato sauce, and a cup of shredded cheese. Used a 2qt baking dish and serves eight.

Introduced this dish to my family tonight and they loved it! I did use 3 cans of tomatoe sauce...no water. And once served added a dollop of sour cream cream. I'm thinking next time to spice it up ill add chopped jalapeƱos and chorizo yo the beef
