"I like this recipe because it dosn't have a lot of ingredients. It's a great basic recipe that can be expanded in almost any way. Try using Italian bread crumbs or make it asian with a little soy sauce, or maybe even better with fish sauce. It's endless what can be done." - starlanes

These were okay. Not my favorite way to have stuffed mushrooms, but not bad either.

I questioned the Italian salad dressing as a marinade, but followed the recipe anyway and was sorry. Being a native Marylander, I know crab recipes, and the Italian dressing doesn't mix well with crab. Next time I'll omit the dressing and just and a dash of Worcestershire sauce!

I actually used imitation crab (::Gasp!:: I know! Terrible!) and it was still very good! My husband, who won't touch imitation seafood, even loved them. I've made them at least four times now. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

I did not marinate the mushrooms, used minced green onion and substituted softened cream cheese for the mayonnaise. It was a big hit! Delicious! My guests called to ask when I was making them again!
