Original recipe makes 4
2 cupsmilk
1/4 cupBrown sugar
1 Tbsp.Butter; melted
1/4 tsp.Salt
1/2 tsp.Cinnamon
1 cupquick-cooking oats
1 cupapple; chopped
1/2 cupRaisins
1/2 cupWalnuts; chopped

Deluxe Crockpot Oatmeal Preparation

Combine ingredients in crockpot. Mix well. Cover and cook on LOW 6-8 hours.

    OK. It went 61/2 hours and still too long My kids eat oatmeal all the time and were not impressed

    this is also good using irish steal cut oats, thats my favorite, thats all i changed tho, i only use quick oats for cookies, cant wait to try your next favorite oatmeal recipe, CCheryl

    This was delish. Simple, hearty, flavorful, and filling. Ready when you wake up. One thing you might want to note; I let my first attempt cook for longer than 8 hours and it overcooked. Serve it after 6 to 8 hours and it is perfect.
