This make-ahead dish can be made the night before, then popped in the oven for half an hour before breakfast. It bakes up fluffy and golden. Top with fresh strawberries before serving.

I made the night before and bread was still squishy and uncooked on bottom side after cooking. Maybe it was the bread I used? I had to turn the bread over and cook for a few more. Was not a big hit.. I might try again but cook right away.

Tried it this morning. Tasted great and was easy to make. Next time, I'll probably add cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg to the egg mixture, rather than sprinkling the cinnamon on top - we're cinnamon junkies.
