Original recipe makes 4
2 cupFlour
2 cupSugar
1 cupmini marshmallows
1/2 cupbutter flavored shortening
3/4 cupCoca-Cola
3 Tbsp.Cocoa
1/2 cupButtermilk
1 tsp.Baking soda
2 Eggs; beaten
Icing:
6 Tbsp.butter flavor shortening
3 Tbsp.Cocoa
6 Tbsp.Coca-Cola
11 oz.Powdered sugar
3/4 cuppecan; pieces

Coca Cola Cake Preparation

Carbonated soft drink adds an unbeatable flavor to this easy microwave cake.

Sift together flour and sugar. Stir in marshmallows. Separately combine shortening, Coca-Cola and cocoa. Microwave 2 minutes until shortening melts. Stir into flour mixture. Add buttermilk, soda and eggs. Pour into greased 13x9" glass dish. Cook on HIGH for 11 minutes, rotating dish every 3 minutes.

Icing:

Microwave shortening, cocoa and Coca-Cola for 1 1/2 minutes to boil. Add powdered sugar and pecans. Mix well. Ice while cake is hot.
