This banana bread recipe is Mrs. Wood's version."I didn't have baking powder so I mixed 2 tablespoons vinegar and 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda instead. I also added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and used 1/2 cup white and 1/4 cup brown sugar. I put butter on top anyways so less sugar is just fine with me. Banana Bread Preparation
Mash bananas with fork until smooth. Combine with all other ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into a large greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about one hour
The best I have ever tried, not too soggy and not too dense.
