This banana bread recipe is Mrs. Wood's version.
"This bread was awesome! I did make a couple changes/additions. I used all brown sugar in place of white sugar, I added about a half cup of ground golden fax meal. I also added an extra teaspoon or so of vanilla and a half cup of shredded coconut. The mixture seemed a bit thick so I added a splash of milk to loosen it up. Then I sprinkled brown sugar over the top before baking. It turned out great!!! Toasted it the next morning and topped with maple butter. Delicious!!!"- LoriLozier

Mash bananas with fork until smooth. Combine with all other ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into a large greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about one hour
The best I have ever tried, not too soggy and not too dense.

ees55 2 months agoThis was not my favorite. I added walnuts and cinnamon but the bread still seemed to be missing something. It could have been more moist too.

dorpeng 2 months agoIt was really good:) The sugar amount was perfect, not too sweet. The baking didn't need an hour, 45 min tops. Milk was added to loosen the mix. It was really good with walnuts. Yum!
