Creamy Baked Chicken Preparation
Place chicken breasts in lightly greased 9 X 13 inch baking dish. You can cut each chicken breast in half or in several pieces if you wish, or leave them whole. Lay a slice of the cheese over each breast or breast piece. In a seperate bowl combine the can of soup and the wine. You may need to add more wine or some water to reach the consistancy of soup. Spoon the soup mixture over the chicken. Top with stuffing. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F. for 45 - 50 minutes. Prepare the rice on the stove if desired while chicken is baking. This is excellent served over hot, cooked, white rice.
A real family pleaser in my home for many years. It is excellent served over white rice. This recipe should serve 6 to 8 people, not 4.
