This is my Grandmother Florence Chases Shepards Pie .
"Whole family enjoyed it. Onions in beef would be good but my hubby doesn't like them. I will make it again. Would be good to make up extra potatoes then use left overs. Also, it could be made up ahead of time."- garfield11

We have a large family , this recipe can be cut in half to downsize it for a smaller family.
I lost my Nana April 2nd 2004 , she made this dish for me every time I was sick , in my house we simply call it "Favorite" thats its name .
Be warned this recipe is even better as a left over! :)

tritogeneia 8 years agoI'm not a huge fan of ground beef dishes, so keep that in mind when you read my comments. I found this dish bland, and I would probably experiment with seasonings the next time I prepared it. I might also add some onions and cut down on the amount of beef used. All in all, a very easy dish to make and one that can be adapted to satisfy picky eaters.
