I didn't have the veggies... but it was fantastic anyway. I can't believe I have not made homemade fried rice before. I will be making this again very soon!
I fried up the onion and chicken in a small amount of oil at the same time that I cooked the rice in my rice cooker. I then set aside the chicken and onions and fried up the eggs. Then I mixed everything together and added soy sauce to taste and fried it a little. SO YUMMY" - Geegir

Basic Fried Rice Preparation
Lightly beat the eggs with a pinch of the salt. Heat oil in a preheated wok or skillet, and lightly scramble the eggs. Add the rice and stir. Add the remaining salt, onions, and peas. Blend well and serve.
Note: Get creative by adding diced pork or chicken and turning this side dish into a complete entree
