|1 lbchicken, boneless, skinless; cut into cubes|
|5 cupsWater; or chicken broth|
|8 ozMushroom; fresh|
|3/4 cupCelery; sliced|
|1/2 cupCarrot; sliced|
|1/2 cupRice; raw|
|1/4 cupOnions; chopped|
|1 cupMixed vegetables; frozen or canned OK|
|5 teaspooninstant boullion, chicken; or 5 cubes|
|1/2 teaspoonGround sage|
Chicken Rice Soup Preparation
In slow cooker, combine chicken, water or broth, vegetables and seasonings.
Cover and cook on low setting 6-8 hours (or on high 4 hours).
Makes 2 quarts, refrigerate leftovers.
Quite right -- 3/4 cups of celery is right.
