Original recipe makes 2
1 lbchicken, boneless, skinless; cut into cubes
5 cupsWater; or chicken broth
8 ozMushroom; fresh
3/4 cupCelery; sliced
1/2 cupCarrot; sliced
1/2 cupRice; raw
1/4 cupOnions; chopped
1 cupMixed vegetables; frozen or canned OK
5 teaspooninstant boullion, chicken; or 5 cubes
1/2 teaspoonGround sage
1/4 teaspoonPepper

Chicken Rice Soup Preparation

In slow cooker, combine chicken, water or broth, vegetables and seasonings.

Cover and cook on low setting 6-8 hours (or on high 4 hours).

Makes 2 quarts, refrigerate leftovers.

Notes

Quite right -- 3/4 cups of celery is right.
