Jello Fruit Pie
Original recipe makes 6
| 1 21 ozCherry pie filling |
| 1 16-oz canPineapple crushed; (not drained) |
| 3/4 cupSugar |
| 1 tblspoonsCornstarch |
| 1 3-oz boxBlack Cherry Jello |
| 4 mediumBananas; diced |
| 1 cupPecans; chopped |
| 2 9-inchPie Shells; baked |
Jello Fruit Pie Preparation
Combine cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple w/ juice, sugar and corn starch, and cook over medium heat until thickened. Add Jello, stirring until gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat, stir in bananas and pecans. Pour into 2-9" pie shells and chill. Serve w/ whipped topping.
