Original recipe makes 6
1 21 ozCherry pie filling
1 16-oz canPineapple crushed; (not drained)
3/4 cupSugar
1 tblspoonsCornstarch
1 3-oz boxBlack Cherry Jello
4 mediumBananas; diced
1 cupPecans; chopped
2 9-inchPie Shells; baked

Jello Fruit Pie Preparation

Combine cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple w/ juice, sugar and corn starch, and cook over medium heat until thickened. Add Jello, stirring until gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat, stir in bananas and pecans. Pour into 2-9" pie shells and chill. Serve w/ whipped topping.
