8 oz. cream cheese; softened
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar; sifted

Preparation

Smooth and creamy frosting made from scratch, with love.

Beat together butter, cream cheese and vanilla with electric mixer until smooth. Continue mixing and gradually add powdered sugar.

If too thick, thin frosting with milk a tsp. at a time to desired consistency.

I loved this recipe but I used half of the amount of butter

Tried this recipe today on a strawberry box cake tweaked a little. It was really good....The only thing was I didn't know how many cups equal a pound so I used 2 cups of powered sugar it was just a little too thin. Next time I will use only one cup.

I've used this recipe over and over and over! It's sooo simple to make and can be tweaked (just a tiny but) to get desired results.
