vivshu ,Very easy, unless you like to peel the ends of the spears like I do. Squeeze the lemon on right after it comes out of the oven. Note cooking times will vary with how thick the asparagus is.

cricketbug75 ,I normally blanch asparagus or saute with a little butter. This was new for me to roast it. I will make again, though I won't bake as long and will put in a covered dish. It's too easy for the tips to dry out. The flavor is great and it's simple.

nsardo94 ,Added 1 tablespoon of butter! And some sliced garlic and some onion powder to the butter and olive oil! I roasted them with a lid on to hold in all the aroma and deliciousness... Absolutely amazing, the grated parmesan really added that perfect bite it needed. Perfection!! Thanks(:
